A spaghetti dinner is being held this Saturday, February 27th from 4 to 7 p.m. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church located at 307 Route 94 in Vernon.

This ecumenical even is sponsored by the Vernon Clergy Association in conjunction with the Christ Community Church and various volunteers from local churches and money raised will be used for the Haiti relief efforts.

Adults - $8.00, Children and Seniors - $5.00

The menu consists of spaghetti and meatballs with marinara sauce, salad, bread, desserts, coffee and soft drinks.

All are welcome to participate in the National Day of Prayer. This is an opportunity for everyone to recognize the need for personal prayer discipline and stress the urgency to pray on behalf of our nation and its leaders.

Meet at 12 noon at the flagpole in front of the Vernon Municipal Building.

Dave Pettigrew and his band will be performing music from their new CD titled "Every Minute Miracles" on Saturday, December 22nd at 7 p.m. at the Glenwood Baptist Church.

Sunday School for Glenwood Baptist Church children and teens begins on Sunday, September 9th.

Sunday school classes start at 10 a.m. and last for one hour prior to the 11 a.m. worship service.

Beginning September 9th, we will return to our regular worship service starting time. Worship service will begin at 11 a.m.
